Es un est\u00e1ndar de la Comisi\u00f3n Electrot\u00e9cnica Internacional (CEI) para clasificar los instrumentos seg\u00fan su capacidad para proteger sus componentes electr\u00f3nicos de la corrosi\u00f3n por agua o polvo.
