Puedes usar cualquier marca de pavo que desees. Lo m\u00e1s importante es colocar el pavo congelado en el refrigerador y dejar que se descongele por completo, lo cual toma de 4 a 5 d\u00edas. Una vez que el pavo est\u00e9 descongelado y listo para cocinar, prepara la parrilla y enciende el carb\u00f3n. Vierte el carb\u00f3n encendido sobre el carb\u00f3n apagado y luego coloca el pavo directamente sobre la bandeja de aluminio y cierra la tapa. Resiste la tentaci\u00f3n de abrir la tapa de la parrilla durante la primera hora de cocci\u00f3n; el pavo necesita que la piel se dore y est\u00e9 crujiente para retener los jugos. Una vez transcurrida la primera hora, revisa el carb\u00f3n y agrega m\u00e1s si es necesario.
