Dit is een zeer belangrijke stap. Koud vlees heeft langer nodig om te garen en droogt uit voordat het de gewenste gaarheid bereikt. Kruid beide kanten van de steak en laat hem 10 minuten rusten. Pak vervolgens een tang en leg de steak op de grill. Draai de steak, of welke steak dan ook, alleen om met een tang of een spatel. Laat de steak, zodra hij op de grill ligt, ongeveer 5 minuten garen en draai hem dan 90\u00b0 om mooie grillstrepen te krijgen. Deze steaks zijn twee keer zo dik als een normale steak, wat betekent dat ze twee keer zo lang nodig hebben om de juiste temperatuur te bereiken. Zodra de eerste kant mooie grillstrepen heeft, draai je de steak om en zet je de grill lager, of verplaats je de steak naar het koudste gedeelte van de grill, en sluit je het deksel.<\/p>\n<p>Zodra je de steak kruislings hebt ingekerfd, heb je ongeveer 20 minuten nodig om hem rare te krijgen, een kerntemperatuur van 46-52\u00b0C. Dit betekent dat je de steak van de grill moet halen als de kerntemperatuur tussen de 41 en 46\u00b0C ligt. Door het nagaren bereikt de steak vervolgens de gewenste temperatuur.<\/p>\n<p>Zorg ervoor dat u tijdens het kookproces regelmatig de temperatuur meet. Houd uw vleesthermometer bij de hand om de temperatuur elke paar minuten te controleren zodra de temperatuur boven de 32\u00b0C (90\u00b0F) komt. De smaak, textuur en verrukking van deze steak zijn werkelijk ongelooflijk.<\/p>\n<p>Is Wagyu-rundvlees de prijs waard? Absoluut. Kan Wagyu-rundvlees een vast onderdeel van uw menu zijn? Zeker. U moet er alleen wel budget voor vrijmaken.
