Reduce the opening of the Breezo's damper and air outlet. This lets the temperature decrease naturally when the Breezo isn't blowing air. When using the Breezo, close the top vent much more than you normally would without it.
A heavy ceramic kamado can continue heating after Breezo pauses because the ceramic body stores heat and the charcoal remains active. Check the fan mount for gaps and seal unused intake openings. Preheat closer to the cooking target before enabling Auto mode to shorten the initial full-speed warm-up period. For a 120°C (248°F) target, technical support suggested preheating to about 100–110°C (212–230°F) before enabling Auto mode.
In the Breezo V2 configuration technical support reviewed in October 2026, the app had no setting to cap maximum warm-up fan output. Check the options for your exact fan and firmware; use the physical damper to restrict intake airflow. If repeated temperature cycling continues, send the temperature graph, target, grill model, firmware version, and vent photos to support.
