S1: What happens if Wi-Fi, internet access, or the connection between ProTemp S1 and Breezo is lost?

The ProTemp S1-to-Breezo control connection and the S1-to-app Wi-Fi connection serve different purposes. With S1 and Breezo powered and their local connection intact, losing home Wi-Fi or internet access alone does not break their local temperature-control link. Remote app monitoring and notifications depend on the required network connection.
A loss of the S1-to-Breezo link is different: the fan cannot receive updated control commands. Support describes Breezo V2 as continuing at its last speed until communication returns, then automatically resuming control. S1 does not have a dedicated audible disconnection alarm for this condition. Normal high- and low-temperature app alerts can still be available while S1 retains its temperature reading and active app connection. If control is interrupted, check the actual grill temperature and connection status.
